Cost to paint a wooded fence?
Location – San Diego
What would be the unit price a contractor might charge to paint my fence? This would include one coat of primer and the paint. Some of the fence is stained if that matters.
A six foot fence, approx. 250′ of fencing = 1,500 linear feet.
I now have an estimate from a licensed contractor & it seems high:
$730 labor + $405materials.
I am getting another estimate from a handyman plus I re-measured & it’s at 175′ & not 250′.
This should make the prior estimate come in at around $800 or so. Still a bit high I think.
It really depends on what size and what linear feet. The primer should stick to the stain part. U really need to call a contractor to give u a estimate. A Handyman is cheaper, and if it’s spray, should not cost that much.
