where can i check on a contractors license #? and what is the best price on a 11.3 by13.5 kitchen?

In Louisiana you can go to the state website and look it up there. Perhaps you can try that for Cali. I was ripped off by a contractor with a license number, (fake), insurance, (forged), and references, (apparently the only two people he finished the job for). I highly recommend that you check that number, call the insurance company to make sure he’s up on the insurance, check out Angie’s list, BBB, Rip Off Report, etc., and get at least five references. I am 12k sadder and wiser. These contractor con artists are good, many have been doing it over and over again and move from state to state and disaster area to disaster area. Good luck!
