What to do before the contractor arrives bathroom?

My husband and I are redoing the bathroom. I looked online to see some ideas of what I do to prep. I found that I empty the bathroom and write something on the carpet on the way from the entrance door to the bathroom. Is there anything else I can do or should do to make the process easier both for the contractor to do the work and cleaning I should do when you go? This is our first home and have never had anything remodeled, so I really do not know what to expect or what the label is. is the dust that can enter the other rooms in my house? Or is it to stay where work is being done? Should I cover topics – such as computers, televisions, etc. – in other parts of my house? These items are in rooms with no doors that can be closed.
