Are there any temp service or career agency that hire people as Independent Contractor instead of employees?

I am an accounting proffessional that left the field 15 yrs ago. Now I want to come back to the field but not to be tie up as an employee. I like the flexibility of working from project to project as a contractor.

I have yet to see one. Most people who work out of outfits like this want benefits. As I am job searching, I see plenty of opportunities for people like yourself – but you will have to seek them out incessantly. Try a listing like Craig’s List or Backpage if you live in a major city. Hot Jobs allows you to sort out staffing firms.
