How to stop a lien on our home (Washington state)?

We hired a contractor to do two projects on our home this year. The projects are finished and our contractor has been fully paid. We now have received two invoices from two different companies who said that they were not paid by my contractor for the work they did on our property. They are giving us notice that they will put a lien on our home unless the bills are paid. Our contractor has not called me back! I did not get a Release of Lien form since I didn’t know about this before starting any of the projects.
