How ould Senator Obama NOT have known about Rezko’s deals which occured when Obama was Chairman of Hosp Board?

Senator Obama was chairman of the Illinois Health and Human Resources Committee from 2003 January to December 2004. The Committee oversees the building and equiping of hospitals, old people’s homes, clinics etc in Illinois plus all other services connected with the health and well being of the people of Illinois.

Mr. Rezko is on trial in Federal Court in Chicago for accepting kickback, bribes and extorting the same from contractors who built hospitals, clinics, old people’s homes etc before and during the Chairmanship of Senator Obama.

Should Senator Obama not be called as a witness to testify as to his knowledge of the contracts his Committee approved before the contracts were sent to the full legislature for approval with so much benefit to Mr. Rezko and his cohorts?

This is important as Senator Obama had a close working relationship and friendship with Mr. Rezko for 25 years–indeed Mr. Rezko was the first contributor to Senator Obama’s campaign for the State House.

This is more to answer “Darling J” above.

We all must be held accountable for the wisdom and judgment we exercise in choosing our friends, advisers, confidants and supporters! Have you not heard that “You are known by the company you keep” and “Birds of a feather flock together”

Yes Obama must take responsibility for his choices in life just as you and I do.
