Comparison of independent tax consultant vs. sole proprietorship?

OK. I am an independent consultant. I'm starting a contract position and will get a 1099 and be responsible for my own taxes (which means the need to find out). I also recently started a company consulting, sole proprietorship at present, may be entered by next quarter. What are the differences in taxes if I have the company this contract in payment to me in 1099 as an individual contractor, pay off with my company. Can I pay more or less making one way or another? Profits during the year compared to fiscal year end presentations? Need a concise and / or sites to decide how it should handle requests for payment, taxes. Thank you.

Because if your business is a sole proprietorship and is not incorporated, taxes are the same as for an independent contractor. "responsible of its own taxes "means that the employer does not withhold anything. You must submit the quarterly estimates, using form 1040ES, payment of each quarter, estimated taxes due to their advantage. Which include both income taxes and self-employment tax is social security and Medicare – will pay 15.3% – which is what would be both the worker and employer halves if you were working as an employee. Depending on the state in which we live, it's very likely have to submit the quarterly estimates of state also.
