Contractors Yellow Pages

should I ask him out?

I would like to hear a guy’s point of view on this.. I was at home tonight catching up on some bills. I called my landlord earlier in the day since my heat/radiators weren’t working. He (landlord) called around 715pm and said he would be stopping by with his plummer. They came up to my apartment, my landlord showed him the radiator and left. The plummer was very talkative and friendly. We chatted and had a great conversation and even talked about music we liked. When he left, he asked me if he had my name correct, shook my hand and said “my name’s Kevin” … I was flattered that he seemed to pay attention and engage me in conversation. There was no ring on his finger. I detected some flirtation. No phone numbers were exchanged but his business name was clearly listed on his coat. After he left, I looked him up and sure enough he listed as a contractor with his cell phone in the yellow pages. Is is wrong or aggressive to call him and ask him to meet for drinks?

There is nothing wrong with calling him and asking to meet. Yeah, it’s aggressive, but that’s cool! He would be flattered.
But you have to be careful…sometimes, guys who work with their hands a lot don’t wear wedding rings because they pinch.
Finding romance means taking chances. If you feel safe enough about this guy, then go for it. Just remember, he knows where you live.
