Court Contractors

If I take a client to court, can I subpoena someone he’s doing business with?

I work as an independent contractor in sales. I helped close a sale and should be paid for it, but I may not be. If I take the company to court, may I subpoena the client I met with? Must they show?

Only a judge or attorney can issue a subpoena.

You can request the client to appear, but you can not force him to.
