Contractors, how much would you charge for this hardwood floor job?

I got a few quotes that vary greatly and was wondering what a fair cost would be – to replace about 360 sq ft of carpet on ground floor over cemet with padding, the trims, hauling away of old carpet, labor and manufactured wood materials.

To float a floor you will be using engineered wood flooring that can run you $4.00sqft – $10.00sqft…installation $3.50 sq ft…that is the pricing around here…your removal of the old carpet and pad and prep work, then finishing with new trim will be extra..but the other prices are what they cost in my area. This will give you an idea to start with.
