Real estate: New Broad Street to buy old GM factory near Atlanta
New Broad Street Cos. of Orlando has signed a deal with General Motors LLC to purchase and redevelop a former GM factory in Doraville, Ga. The 165-acre site is 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and is bounded by Interstate 285, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, and a mass-transit MARTA rail line.
