It Contractor Day Rates

I need to know where I can borrow $5K to cover my bills until I can get back to work after my surgery.?

I was hurt at work and tried doing the Contractor a favor by not filling out an accident report. ( I told several people on the job). 3 months later I was physically assaulted by a superintendent, I was not an aggressor and I have a witness. This incident aggrevated my injury from before, and I told several people. I said I’m going to have to do something about it eventually. 1 month after the 2nd incident I went to the hosptal to be examined. It was suspected that I had a torn medial meniscus and needed an MRI. I was given work restictions from the Doctor, but I could do what I could tolerate. I was willing ( and wanted ) to keep working but the owner of the company said if I had any restrictions I couldn’t work, even though the General Contractor who paid a Time and Material rate for me said they would take care of me even if it meant sitting in the trailer all day. The company’s Workman’s Comp carrier denied my claim. I hired an Attorney but have 2 kids and bills mounting with no $

well, the attorney was the best thing to do, but it can take months before they get any money from you. AS you probably know.

Your best bet is to borrow money from a parent or sibling, or other family member. If you have good credit, you can probably get a personal loan from a bank.
