I’m looking for liability insurance for a contractor who specializes in home remodeling for people with dissabilities?

Most small contractors are stuck with the “surplus lines” market these days. The insurance industry is terrified of construction defects claims and mold claims, so the garden variety insurers have shut off small contractors.

Tradesmen are another story. Electricians, plumbers, and other “specialists” are still welcome in the standard market.
