There are different types of flowers native to the Philippines today that many Filipinos would consider as their own. One in particular is the Sampaguita. Not only is native to the Philippines, Sampaguita flower is also the national flower of the Philippines. Another is the ylang-ylang flower found only in two countries of Asia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Other of these flowers, the Philippines is also home to several of the world's most endangered species of flowers.
