Private Military Contractors In Afghanistan

How would Private Military Companies in UK train with firearms with such strict laws?

Private Military companies are companies that may be hired privately or through governments in order to offer a service such as soldier training, escort or close protection. They often work in places like iraq or afghanistan. These are obviously dangerous jobs so they need to practice firearms but I was wondering how on earth they train with them if the gun laws in the UK are so strict.
