registered contractors in texas
I am a licensed contractor from Texas, what do I need to work in New Orleans?

Such as special permits, contractors permits, etc? Do I need to register anywhere? (with City HAll)I specialize in all facets of contruction.

first and foremost you need a place to stay, no joke. then you should register and apply w/ the state government for a la license. then, go to the city’s website and review for more info, like whether you need to register here too. then, go to the new orleans homebuilders assoc. website and get more info. by then you should know exactly what you need to get started. lemme tell you tho, there are more contractors than you can shake a stick at currently so be ready for competition in general, then for materials, then for labor. and don’t forget to bring plenty of references, even if from in tx, so people will trust you, otherwise good luck.
