Standard Contractors Agreement
New real estate agent with a question please ….?
Hello …. I am not willing to sign with a large agency in Northern California the week comes. I'm more the "Independent Contractor Agreement" with the broker and just wondering if this is something that should have a lawyer look? It looks pretty normal to me, but just curious what others have done. Thank you very much in advance!
Make sure you still have one in the contract. For the IRS to consider Realtors independent contractors are required to have a contract. There are few brokers in my area to put things in their contracts that cause to have to buy out his contract if he will leave in the first two years, etc. Remember that all items belong to the broker not the agent. If you go to another broker out of the lists. Find an agent with a division of the commission of high and low limit of cover each year. You also want to know what the requirements are in the contract. You could say that you have to pay for all sources, signs, prints, etc. You may need to do office work. This is a way for a office to avoid paying a receptionist. Do not make money in a real estate office. You make working in the field of money getting listings. Make sure you have name of pilots in all its signs, as the lists more you have, the phone rings. Do not waste your time looking for buyers. Everyone else is doing that. Spend your time to get the listings. Did I say get listed? Good luck PS. If you contact me I will be happy to see the contract for you.
